You have identified a hazard, predicted what may happen and chosen a safe response. What does Execute mean in the IPDE process?
Correct answer: Carry out the response you have chosen.
Why
Execute means carrying out your driving decision. It may be a smooth stop at a traffic light or a response requiring emergency-driving skill. Practise those skills in a safe setting, preferably with a trained instructor. Regular IPDE practice helps the sequence become faster and more familiar when traffic demands increase.
