This sign warns of a stop sign ahead. At that two-way stop, you and an oncoming driver stop at about the same time. You will turn left, and the other driver will go straight. Who goes first?

Correct answer: The driver going straight; you turn left after, when it is safe.
Why
When two vehicles arrive around the same time at opposite stop signs and one is turning left, the driver turning left must yield to the driver going straight. If it is safe, the left-turning vehicle can go next. When both opposing drivers go straight, they can proceed at the same time. Always wait until cross traffic has passed.
