Passing target: 20 correct signs and 20 correct rules
Two people each say they have had two mixed drinks. Why is that not a reliable way to judge their fitness to drive?
Correct answer: Drinks can hold different amounts of alcohol, and alcohol affects people differently.
Why
The number of glasses alone does not tell you how much alcohol was consumed. Mixed drinks can contain different amounts, and personal factors such as physical condition, food and medication affect how alcohol affects a person. Neither a drink count nor feeling normal proves that someone can drive safely. Arrange sober transportation instead of trying to turn those observations into permission to drive.
