Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You drive in the right lane of a road with two lanes in your direction. Traffic moves at normal speed, and you pass this sign. What should you do?

Correct answer: Check your mirror and blind spot, signal, and move left into a safe gap
Why
At normal speed, look for a gap early so that you do not need a sudden move at the end of the lane, and match the speed of the traffic that you join. In heavy, slow traffic at a closed lane, the manual advises a zipper merge instead: use both lanes up to the merge point and then take turns.
