You drive on a highway with packed snow and patches of ice. Your car has cruise control. How should you control your speed?
Correct answer: Turn cruise control off and control your speed with your own foot.
Why
Posted speed limits are set for dry pavement in summer. In winter, drive well below the limit, avoid sudden sharp turns, and brake lightly. Leave extra following distance, and stay home if the roads are too bad.
