Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
A 35-year-old driver with a regular Class D license takes a breath test after a traffic stop. The result is 0.06. What does this result mean under Utah law?
Correct answer: It is a DUI level, because Utah's limit for drivers 21 and older is 0.05
Why
Alcohol slows your judgment, vision and reaction time, and the manual says that vision is affected at a BAC of only 0.02. A driver can also be charged with DUI below 0.05 if alcohol, drugs or both make the driver unable to drive safely. The only safe plan is not to drive after you drink.
