You pack boxes into the back seat and cargo area of your car. They block your view through the back window. When may you drive the car loaded this way?
Correct answer: Only when the car has a secure outside mirror on each side that shows the road behind.
Why
The manual says you must have a rearview mirror, because mirrors let you watch the traffic behind you before you slow down, change lanes or back up. When a load blocks the inside mirror's view, the side mirrors must do that job. Adjust all mirrors before you drive, and still turn your head to check the blind spots.
