On part one of the Virginia knowledge exam, Riley answers 9 of the 10 road-sign questions correctly. What happens next?
Correct answer: Riley does not pass part one and cannot start part two yet
Why
Virginia's knowledge exam starts with 10 road-sign questions, and every answer must be correct. Signs give orders and warnings that a driver must read in a moment, so full sign knowledge is important for safety. The 80 percent pass mark applies only to part two. Before the exam, study every sign shape, color and symbol in Section 2 of the manual.
