Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You see a yellow diamond sign that shows a car with two wavy tire tracks behind it. What is the sign warning you about?
Correct answer: The pavement can lose grip, mostly when it is wet
Why
When you see this sign on a wet road, reduce your speed and leave more space to the vehicle ahead. Avoid hard braking and sudden changes of direction, because these can start a skid on slick pavement. Virginia law also makes it reckless driving to go faster than is reasonable for the conditions, even below the posted limit.
