Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You drive on a road where this sign, with two opposing left-turn arrows, marks the center lane. A slow delivery truck is ahead of you in your lane. What may you do?

Correct answer: Use the center lane only to turn left
Why
Drivers from both directions use the shared center lane to turn left, and to make a U-turn where one is allowed. Enter it only when you are about to turn, signal at least 100 feet before the turn, and drive no more than 300 feet in it. Watch for oncoming drivers who move into the same lane to turn.
