Intersections & Right-of-WayStandalone practice
You are driving around a roundabout when you hear a siren and see an ambulance behind you. What should you do?
Blue A is circulating in a single-lane roundabout with ambulance B following. The card gives the siren fact.
Correct answer: Drive on to your exit, leave the roundabout, then pull over
Why
The law says to pull over to the right edge, clear of any intersection, and stop until the emergency vehicle passes. A roundabout is an intersection, so you clear it first. If you have not yet entered the roundabout, pull over and wait before you enter.
