Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
Four learners have passed the vision screening, the Highway Signs Test and the Knowledge Test. Which learner can get a Class D instruction permit now?
Correct answer: A learner who is 15 and is enrolled in driver education with behind-the-wheel lessons
Why
The driving school gives the learner a signed driver license application (form MV3001), which the learner needs to apply for the permit. An applicant aged 18 or older does not need driver education and can apply after the two tests and the vision screening. The permit lets you practice for the skills test, but only with a qualified supervisor beside you.
