Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You drive out of a parking garage and want to turn onto the street. A black-and-white ONE WAY sign across the street has an arrow that points to your right. Your destination is to the left. What should you do?

Correct answer: Turn right, because traffic may move only in the direction of the arrow
Why
Look for ONE WAY and DO NOT ENTER signs before you turn onto a street that you do not know. A wrong-way driver meets traffic head-on. To turn left from a one-way street, start from the lane next to the left curb, unless signs or markings show another lane.
