Why must you never turn the ignition key to the LOCK position while your vehicle is still moving?
Correct answer: The steering can lock, and you may lose control of the vehicle.
Why
Most vehicles have a steering-lock device that works when the key is turned to LOCK. If this happens while the vehicle is moving, you can lose steering control. Always stop, shift to park, and only then turn the key to LOCK and remove it.
