Where should your hands normally be on the steering wheel?
Correct answer: Outside the rim, at balanced positions
Why
Keep both hands on the outside of the wheel when possible. ICBC gives balanced clock positions such as nine and three; a lower position may be preferable with an airbag. Avoid reaching inside the rim and follow the vehicle’s safe operating guidance.
