Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
You have just overtaken a bicycle and want to turn right across the cyclist’s path. What must you do?
Blue A has passed cyclist B and is still before the intersection, preparing to turn right. B follows behind A in the same-direction bicycle lane along the right edge.
Correct answer: Wait until you will not impede the cyclist.
Why
Do not turn right after passing a bicyclist unless the movement can be made safely and will not impede the bicyclist’s travel. Check beside and behind you, signal and let the rider clear when needed. Do not squeeze past simply to turn in front of the bicycle.
