Passing target: 20/25 correct (TLA practice target)
A driver is leaving an alley across a sidewalk. Where should the vehicle stop?
An alley ends at a sidewalk below the street. The northbound blue car is in that alley and a silver car uses the street. No badge or action overlay is shown.
Correct answer: Just before the sidewalk, then yield to pedestrians and traffic.
Why
Stop immediately before driving onto the sidewalk area when emerging from an alley. Cross only without endangering pedestrians and yield to traffic on the street. If the exit is also a private-road or driveway approach, stop immediately before entering the highway as well.
