Passing target: 20/25 correct (TLA practice target)
A STOP sign controls your approach. Where must you make the required stop?
An empty approach leads to a STOP sign and a white stop bar at an intersection. A pedestrian and silver car are on the cross road. No learner car marks a stopping position.
Correct answer: At the stop line; if none, before the crosswalk or intersection.
Why
Stop first at the marked stop line if one is present. Otherwise stop before the crosswalk; if neither exists, stop before entering the intersection at the nearest lawful point with a view of approaching traffic. After the stop, yield to traffic in the intersection or close enough to be an immediate hazard.
