Traffic Signals & Road MarkingsStandalone practice
You are in the right lane at a steady red light and want to turn right. No sign prohibits turns on red. What may you do?

Correct answer: Stop completely, then turn right after yielding to pedestrians and cross traffic.
Why
Look left, right and ahead for pedestrians and bicyclists before you turn. Montana also allows a left turn on red from a one-way street onto another one-way street, after a stop and under the same conditions. If you are in the wrong lane for the turn, go on to the next intersection instead.
