Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You approach a downward-pointing red-and-white YIELD triangle where your street joins a busier road. A car on that road is close to the intersection. What do you do?

Correct answer: Slow down, stop if you must, and let the car go before you enter
Why
If you must stop at a YIELD sign, Nebraska law puts the stop at the stop line, or before the crosswalk, or where you can see the cross road. The three-sided shape is used only for YIELD. Look early and choose a gap that lets you enter without making the other driver brake. You also meet YIELD signs at merges and at roundabout entries.
