Parking, Reversing & Roadside StopsStandalone practice
You shift into reverse to back out of a parking space. The rear camera screen shows nothing behind you. What should you do?
Correct answer: Check your mirrors and look over your shoulders too, and back slowly when clear.
Why
A rear camera is a useful aid, but the driver must still watch and control the car during the whole backing move. Small children and other pedestrians can walk into your path after you start. Back slowly so that you can stop at once.
