Passing target: 80% (20/25)
You are behind a slow truck on a two-lane, two-way road. The center line on your side is solid yellow, and the oncoming lane looks clear. What should you do?
Blue A follows a white truck B on a two-way road. The yellow center line nearest A is solid, and the line across it is broken.
Correct answer: Stay behind the truck until the line on your side becomes broken.
Why
No-passing zones are marked where passing is dangerous, for example where a hill or curve hides oncoming traffic. Stay back, keep a safe following distance, and wait for a broken line and a clear road ahead. Nevada law does allow you to cross the line to turn left into a driveway or side road, after you signal and when it is safe.
