Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You are stopped at a red light in the right lane and want to turn right. This sign is posted at the intersection. What should you do?

Correct answer: Wait for a green light or a green right arrow before you turn right.
Why
These signs are used where a turn on red is dangerous, for example where many pedestrians cross or the view of cross traffic is blocked. When the light turns green, still yield to pedestrians and vehicles in the intersection. New Hampshire law allows a right turn on red only where no sign prohibits it.
