Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You are stopped at a corner and plan to turn left onto the cross street. A black-and-white ONE WAY sign on the corner has its arrow pointing to the right. What should you do?

Correct answer: Skip the left turn, and turn right or go straight instead
Why
A ONE WAY sign shows the only direction in which traffic may move on that street, and state law allows travel only in that direction. Before you turn onto a street, look for these signs on the corners; parked cars that all face the same way are another clue. Driving the wrong way puts you face to face with drivers who do not expect you.
