You have just turned onto what you thought was a highway entrance ramp, and this sign now faces you. What should you do?

Correct answer: Pull to the side and stop, then turn around with care when no traffic is coming.
Why
WRONG WAY signs stand on exit ramps and one-way roads, facing drivers who have entered in the wrong direction, and wrong-way crashes are often head-on. This is not like a missed exit: after a missed exit you still go the right way, so the manual says to drive on to the next exit and never stop, back up or turn around. Here, going on means driving against traffic, so you must stop and turn around. New Hampshire law allows travel on a one-way roadway, and on each side of a divided highway, only in the direction marked.
