Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
On a two-lane road with a broken center line, you are behind a slow delivery truck as you climb toward the top of a hill. You cannot see what is coming over the top. What should you do?
Correct answer: Stay behind the truck until you are over the hill and can see enough road ahead.
Why
Passing is safe only when there is no oncoming traffic and you can see far enough ahead to finish the pass. The manual also warns against passing on curves, at intersections, at railroad crossings, on narrow bridges and in underpasses or tunnels. All passing must be finished before the center line becomes solid again.
