On a highway, you have been driving for some time in the lane next to a tractor-trailer, even with the middle of its trailer. What should you do?
A travels in the lane beside a tractor-trailer, level with the middle of its trailer.
Correct answer: Move out of that spot by passing at a steady speed or by dropping back.
Why
The areas beside, directly behind and just in front of a large truck or bus are no-zones, where the driver cannot see other vehicles. If the driver must change lanes quickly or swerve, a car in the side no-zone will be in the way. If the truck driver cannot see your car in the truck's mirrors, your car is in a no-zone.
