Safe & Responsible DrivingStandalone practice
Your driver license says you must wear corrective lenses. You are making a short trip to the store after dark. What should you do?
Correct answer: Wear them, as you must every time you drive.
Why
A corrective-lens restriction applies every time you drive, and New Mexico law makes it a misdemeanor to drive in violation of a license restriction. The manual says the vision test checks for at least 20/40 vision in one eye, with or without corrective lenses. At night, avoid dark glasses or tinted contact lenses, because they block light that you need to see.
