Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
Light rain has just started, and you pass a yellow diamond sign that shows a car with two wavy tire tracks behind it. What should you do?

Correct answer: Slow down, and steer, brake and accelerate gently
Why
Wet pavement gives the tires less grip, and the New Mexico manual advises slowing by about 10 mph on a wet road. Leave more room to stop, because stopping takes longer on a slick surface. Brake early and gently so that you keep steering control.
