Parking, Reversing & Roadside StopsStandalone practice
You are delivering a table to a friend's house. The curb in front of the house has NO PARKING signs. What may you do?

Correct answer: Stop only while you carry the table in, then move the car right away.
Why
In New York law, parking means keeping a vehicle stopped, with or without people in it, for any reason other than active loading or unloading. So a car with a passenger inside can still be illegally parked. The statewide distance rules still apply during a loading stop, for example near a fire hydrant.
