Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You missed your street and want to go back. At the next intersection, a white square sign shows a black U-shaped arrow under a red circle with a red slash. What should you do?

Correct answer: Go on and turn around at a place where the turn is allowed
Why
A red circle with a slash means that the action shown inside it is not allowed, as on the no left turn, no right turn and no bicycles signs. The handbook says that failure to obey these regulatory signs is unsafe and also a traffic violation. If you plan your route before you drive, you are less likely to need a sudden turn after a missed street.
