Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You are stopped at a cross street and want to turn left onto it. On the corner, a black sign for that street shows a white arrow pointing to the right and the words ONE WAY. What must you do?

Correct answer: Do not turn left; you may turn only to the right onto that street
Why
North Carolina law makes it unlawful to drive on a one-way road against the direction that its signs show. A driver who turns the wrong way meets traffic head-on, often where other drivers do not look for oncoming cars. Before you turn onto an unfamiliar street, look for ONE WAY signs on the corners.
