Passing target: 80% (24/30)
On I-94, you pass your exit by a few hundred feet. A median crossover is ahead. What should you do?
A is beyond a missed right exit on a divided Interstate. A paved crossover ahead connects the two roadways through the grass median; no return route is selected.
Correct answer: Continue to the next exit, and use the ramps there to get back to your route.
Why
A missed exit is an inconvenience, not an emergency. Backing or turning on the Interstate puts a slow vehicle in the path of fast traffic that does not expect it. The same idea applies on ramps: if you leave at the wrong interchange, follow the ramp out and come back by the entrance ramp.
