Parking, Reversing & Roadside StopsStandalone practice
Your mother has a disability that limits her ability to walk, and she has a valid removable windshield placard. Which vehicle may legally park in a space marked with the wheelchair symbol?
Correct answer: Her car, with the placard displayed, when you drive her to a store and she goes in with you
Why
Accessible spaces are close to entrances so that people who cannot walk far can reach the building. When other drivers use these spaces, a person who needs one may have no place to park. Also keep out of the striped access aisle next to the space, because Ohio law does not let you stop or park there; a wheelchair user needs that area to get in and out of a vehicle.
