What is the correct action to take when approaching an intersection where the traffic signal is a flashing red light?
Correct answer: Stop completely and go only when it is safe
Why
A flashing red traffic light has the exact same meaning as a Stop sign. You must come to a complete stop, yield to cross traffic and pedestrians, and proceed when safe.
