What does a solid red traffic light require you to do?
Correct answer: Stop completely, then go only when allowed and clear
Why
Stop at the stop line, crosswalk, sidewalk edge or intersection edge, as applicable. Normally wait for green; a right turn, or a left turn from one one-way road to another, may be allowed after a full stop when the way is clear and no sign prohibits it.
