Passing target: 16 correct signs and 16 correct rules (TLA practice targets)
You are driving on a road and see an intersection ahead with a Yield sign facing you. What does the law require you to do?
Blue car A approaches northbound on the right side of the lower road. A Yield sign faces this approach. Silver car B approaches from the left on the intersecting road.
Correct answer: Slow down and yield, stopping if necessary
Why
A yield sign means you must reduce speed as you approach the intersection and give the right-of-way to any traffic or pedestrians. You only need to stop if someone is already in or approaching the intersection.
