Your driver's license has a restriction that requires corrective lenses. You sit down in your car and realize that your glasses are still in the house, and you are not wearing contacts. What should you do?
Correct answer: Drive only after you get your glasses, because the restriction applies every time you drive.
Why
PennDOT can add restrictions such as corrective lenses, daylight driving only or extra side mirrors when your vision needs them. Side vision, distance judgment and night vision can change with age and disease without you noticing, so have your eyes checked every one or two years. Do not wear sunglasses or tinted contact lenses at night.
