Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
On a two-lane road, a car behind you signals and moves left to pass you. What should you do?
Blue car A travels in the right lane of a two-lane road. Silver car B has moved left across the broken yellow line to pass A, and the card states that B has signaled.
Correct answer: Keep to the right and do not speed up until it has passed.
Why
A passing driver needs room to return to the right lane before oncoming traffic arrives. If you slow slightly, you make that gap larger. Watch the passing car pull back in, and keep a safe following distance after it does.
