Passing target: 70% (28/40)
You are behind a tractor-trailer at an intersection. Its right turn signal is on, and it swings to the left, which leaves an open space between the truck and the curb. You also plan to turn right. What should you do?
A follows tractor-trailer B toward an intersection and also plans a right turn. B has swung left, leaving a wide gap between it and the right curb; the card states that its right signal is on. No route or waiting highlight is shown.
Correct answer: Stay behind the truck and wait until it has finished its right turn
Why
A long truck needs extra room for a right turn, so its driver may swing left first, and the trailer then cuts in toward the curb as it turns. A car in that space can be crushed, and the truck driver may not see it at all. Watch the truck's turn signals, and do not pass on the right of a truck that may turn right.
