Licensing & Test ReadinessStandalone practice
Ravi has never had a driver license. He takes the Utah closed-book written knowledge test and answers 39 of the 50 questions correctly. What is his result?
Correct answer: He fails, because he needed at least 40 correct (80 percent)
Why
A person who has never been licensed takes a 50-question, closed-book written knowledge test, and a person who was licensed before takes a 25-question, open-book test. The test has no time limit, and you can take it two times in one day if the office can schedule it. The fee covers three attempts within 12 months; after three failures, a new fee pays for three more attempts.
