A bike lane marked with a solid white line and a bicycle symbol runs along the right side of the street. When may you drive in the bike lane?
Blue A travels beside a bike lane bounded by a solid white line and marked with a bicycle symbol. A right-hand side road is ahead.
Correct answer: Only to turn, or to cross it to park at the curb
Why
Before you enter or cross a bike lane, check your mirror and look over your shoulder for bicyclists. A buffer with diagonal lines is part of the bike lane, so do not drive in it either. Many bike lanes are painted green.
