Passing target: 80% (52/65)
You drive in a one-lane roundabout. An ambulance with a siren and flashing lights comes up behind you. You planned to leave at the third exit. What should you do?
Blue A is inside a one-lane circulating roadway around a visible central island. A white ambulance B approaches behind it with active warning lamps. The next exit is clear; no route or stop mark is in the question.
Correct answer: Leave at the next exit, even if it is not yours, and then pull over and stop.
Why
Emergency vehicles also use the roundabout, and a car that stops in it blocks the only path. The law tells you to pull to the right and stop clear of the intersection. You can come back to your route after the emergency vehicle has passed.
