You are driving a car on a Wyoming Interstate highway. Which maximum speed limits can apply there?
Correct answer: 75 mph, or 80 mph where that higher limit is posted
Why
Wyoming law sets 75 mph on Interstate highways and lets the state designate segments with an 80 mph limit, shown by signs. Other state highways have a 70 mph limit. These are maximums for good conditions: wind, snow, ice, darkness or heavy traffic can make a much lower speed the only safe choice. Signs can also post lower limits, for example in work zones.
