Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You approach an intersection, and this sign faces your lane. There is a stop line, and no cross traffic is in sight. What must you do?

Correct answer: Stop fully at the stop line, then yield to any traffic or people before you go
Why
A red eight-sided sign always means stop. Wyoming law requires you to stop at the marked stop line; if there is none, stop before the crosswalk, and if there is no crosswalk, stop where you can see cross traffic before you enter. After the stop, yield to people in the crosswalk and to vehicles close enough to be a hazard. A full stop gives you time to see cross traffic that you could miss at a rolling speed.
