Freeways & High-Speed RoadsStandalone practice
Your car breaks down on the Interstate at night. You have moved it fully onto the right shoulder. How should you warn other drivers?
Correct answer: Turn on the four-way flashers and set out flares or reflectors.
Why
After you move a disabled vehicle fully onto the shoulder, turn on your four-way emergency flashers, and at night also use flares or reflectors. To show that you need help, raise the hood or trunk lid, or tie a white cloth to the antenna or a door handle. Wyoming law does not allow a turn signal to be flashed on one side only on a disabled vehicle.
