You are driving on a road with several lanes. The line on your right is white. The line on your left is yellow. What do these colors tell you?
A travels between yellow lines on its left and a broken white line on its right. Silver B travels to its right in the same direction, while C faces toward it across the yellow lines.
Correct answer: Traffic to your right moves your way; traffic to your left comes toward you.
Why
Line color tells you how the traffic beside you moves. White lines divide lanes that go in the same direction, and yellow lines divide traffic that goes in opposite directions. Oncoming traffic is on the other side of a yellow line on your left, so crossing it can put you head-on with another vehicle. Wyoming law requires you to keep to the right half of the road and to obey these markings.
