When must a Georgia driver lower high-beam headlights for other traffic?
Correct answer: Within 500 feet of oncoming cars; 200 feet when following.
Why
Dim high beams within 500 feet of an approaching vehicle and within 200 feet when following. Also use low beams in rain, fog, snow or smoke, on lighted roads and when visibility is reduced. Slow so that you can stop within the distance the headlights illuminate.
