The accelerator remains stuck and cannot be freed. What should you do?
Correct answer: Shift into neutral and brake gently.
Why
If the accelerator cannot be freed, shift to neutral to remove engine power from the wheels and brake gently to slow down. Keep steering control and move to a safe stopping place. Do not select park or reverse while moving or turn the ignition to a position that can lock the steering.
