Your car has a backup camera. You are backing out of a driveway onto a street. How should you watch your path while the car moves?
Correct answer: Look out the rear window the whole time, and use the camera and mirrors only as extra checks
Why
Before you back up, walk around the car and look to the front, the sides and the rear. Then back slowly into the nearest lane of the street and drive forward from there. Children, pets and low objects can hide in the blind areas of a camera or a mirror, so a direct view gives the best protection. Backing up on a freeway or an expressway is not allowed, except for emergency vehicles on duty.
